He is a pioneer in the Negishi district of Iruma City, and is a long-established farmer boasting a long history of a whopping 400 years since the Kan'ei era. The current owner, Toshio Nakajima, is the 15th generation of the family, and the 16th generation, Katsunori Nakajima, is currently the mainstay of production at one of the largest green tea factories. The Nakajima family's motto is “making green tea that people can feel at ease” by adhering to the basics.
